Sound familiar

Life Sciences has more to memorise than anything else you take.

Knowing the content is one thing. Knowing how to use it in an exam is another. That is where many learners struggle.

Fix That This Year
  • You are sitting somewhere in the 50s, and you need a 70 to apply where you want to go.
  • You have read the chapter three times, but you still go blank when you see a question.
  • You do past papers, but you are not sure if your answers would get you full marks.
  • Everyone tells you to study harder, but nobody shows you how.

How it works

Three steps, then you are in class.

Coming from an under-resourced school, I understand how difficult it can be to succeed when opportunities are limited.
Nkanyiso Dlamini · Founder

Meet the founder

He sat where you are sitting three years ago.

Nkanyiso Dlamini went to an under-resourced school in KwaZulu-Natal. In 2023 he matriculated as the second top-performing learner in the entire uMgungundlovu District.

He is now in his third year of an MBChB at the University of Cape Town.

In December 2024 he began teaching a small group of Grade 11 learners. Since then he has personally tutored more than 1 000 learners across South Africa, through Maison Acadé-Nova and previous educational programmes.

Among the learners he has taught are students who have gone on to study medicine at the University of Cape Town and other leading universities.

Nkanyiso continues to teach while building Maison Acadé-Nova into a broader academic programme. As it grows, his role is moving towards academic leadership, tutor development and quality assurance, so that the teaching stays consistent across every tutor who works with our learners.

Join for the Year
What does R500 get me?

For a once-off payment of R500, you get access to four classes per month, with each class lasting two hours.

Throughout the year, we’ll work through the Life Sciences curriculum from the beginning of the year until your Trial Exams, ensuring that you stay on track and understand the content as you progress.

You’ll also have access to recorded lessons, allowing you to revisit lessons or catch up whenever needed.

What is a Boot Camp, and do I need one?

Boot Camps are intensive revision sessions designed to help you prepare for your exams.

Unlike your regular classes, Boot Camps will be facilitated by a specialist educator or tutor who focuses specifically on intensive exam preparation.

The sessions run for 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday, for two weeks before the exam. We’ll focus on:

  • Identifying and closing content gaps
  • Intensive revision
  • Exam-style questions
  • Applying your knowledge
  • Exam preparation and technique

Boot Camps are highly recommended, especially if you want that extra preparation before your exams.

Boot Camps cost R200 per term, and you can choose which terms you would like to join. You do not have to join every Boot Camp.

What if I’m really behind?

You can never be too far behind.

All lessons are recorded and made available to you, so you can catch up on work you may have missed or revisit concepts you don’t fully understand.

Even if you join the programme later in the year, you’ll still have access to the relevant recorded lessons, allowing you to work through the content at your own pace.

Can my parents pay for me?

Absolutely!

Parents or guardians are welcome to cover the cost of the programme on behalf of the learner.

The programme is designed to be accessible and affordable, with a once-off fee of R500 for the annual programme.

If you would like to join the intensive Boot Camps, these are available separately for R200 per term. You can choose which Boot Camps you would like to attend based on your needs.

Do I need a laptop?

No!

You can join our classes using a laptop, tablet, or even your smartphone.

All you need is a device that allows you to access the online classes and recorded lessons.

Does this replace my teacher at school?

Definitely not!

Our programme is designed to complement and reinforce what you learn at school, not replace your teacher.

We cover the same CAPS Life Sciences content taught at school, but our goal is to provide additional support, explanation, practice, and revision to help you strengthen your understanding and improve your performance.

Think of us as an extra layer of support alongside your school teacher.

Get in touch

Ask before you start.

Not sure which programme fits your grade, or whether this is right for you? Message and ask. A real person answers, and there is no obligation to join anything afterwards.

Parents are welcome to ask too. Plenty do.

Grade 11 and Grade 12

Your marks are not fixed. They are just untaught.
